GRATITUDE

I have this desire in my life,
To live it to the fullest.
With Sensitivity, Love and Compassion,
And most of all GRATITUDE

I express my Gratitude for my life,
I live in Gratitude for what is offered to me,
I bow down in Gratitude to GOD,
For all that He brings to me.

I have lots and much more,
And I will live my life in this blissful feeling,
Of GRATITUDE

Nothing is Impossible

That Glance

A few hundred strangers
You were one of them.
A glance in your direction,
A glance in mine.
A short conversation,
A gaze in the eyes.
A few words spoken,
A thousand words unspoken.
A distance that continued,
And still stayed so close.
Ways that parted,
Cross ways again we shall...

GOLDEN SPARKLES OF MAGIC

It just makes sense to write about this – after all, it’s been my Gtalk status for years now, it’s also my ‘About Me’ on Facebook and just so had to be the new blogs’ name as well!

This phrase has stuck and stayed with me – through countless, endless conversations. Through my thoughts. Through my spirit. Through me.

I recollect how I first came across my Golden Sparkles of Magic – If I retrospect (and so I shall), it goes back to when one by one, people who were special in my life started moving across a few oceans. My way of staying touch – Gmail and Gtalk – my trusted buddies. So many beautiful conversations ensued and it was one such conversation that was magical and sparkly for me. And Voila! That was the beginning of my Golden Sparkles of Magic.

I’ve wondered through the years if I could ever put a visual to that expression and I finally could. On one my flights back from Delhi a year back, my flight was encircling the Bombay airspace. We were doing rounds over the ocean – I had an early AM flight and the sun was just rising. We were on a low encircling and could see the ocean below. It was a clear day in May and the water calm. And suddenly, as the sunlight bounced off the water, I could see sparkles! All over! Mesmerizing Golden sparkles…of magic :) It was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen.

My life is filled with beautiful moments - golden moments, magical moments.

Yaba Daba Doooooo

I've been a Flintstones fan growing up! Its their 50th anniversary today. It makes me go back in time. 2 of my fav shows (OK, cartoons!!) were based on totally different time frames - one the stone age (The Flintstones) and the other from the future (The Jetsons).

I remember singing along to the jingles at the beginning and the end of the Flintstones. I love all the jingles ended in "You'll have a yabba dabba doo time, A dabba doo time, You'll have a gay old time....YABAAA DAABAAA DOOOOO" and Fred Flintstone pounding on the door shouting "WILMAAAAA" as his cat locked him out! Haha!!

As they celebrate their 50th anniversary, I celebrate too. Celebrate the happiness of having grown up watching one of the best cartoons of all time. Celebrate the happiness it bought to this adult when she was a child and teen!

Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones.
They're the modern stone age family.
From the town of Bedrock,
They're a page right out of history.

Let's ride with the family down the street.
Through the courtesy of Fred's two feet.

When you're with the Flintstones
you'll have a yabba dabba doo time.
A dabba doo time.
You'll have a gaaaay old time....

To all of you - YABAAA DAABAAAA DOOOOO!!!!

Doodles is back!

WOO HOO!! I’m writing again! Tejal is back! To pouring out her thoughts, idiosyncrasies, doodling, babbling or just being plain, good old Tejal! I don’t know, I don’t care – the -thoughts are a-coming and I ain’t a-stopping them!

What brought this on? Cleaning out old stuff on my lappie! I found my old writing and I was hooked. Now I want to be very modest and say I wrote pretty decently before. So I thought, why not give it a shot again? Its been 3 years since I’ve written last. Oddly, it really coincides with the time I came back from the US.
Did America help in bringing out my thoughts better? Was I more expressive back then? What changed? Why did I stop writing? Dunno – Dun-care!

What do I want to bring about in my writing this time? I want simplicity and innocence. Positivity and faith. Hope and Tenderness. Humor and laughter. Love and Compassion. Sadness and tears too. Sometimes pointless writing. I just want to be – ME.

This year for me has been so fantastic till now – and it can only get better. Bigger and better. Somewhere along the way, I lost my innocence and simplicity. I lost my zing. In my desperation for something new and better, I let myself stop being me. Now no more. I’m back – on track and thundering to go. I’ll take my time, move at my own pace, make my decisions or maybe not, but it will be all mine.

The world is at my fingertips in this space – literally :)

Watch out for more from Me! Till next time...
