GOLDEN SPARKLES OF MAGIC

     

              

It just makes sense to write about this – after all, it’s been my Gtalk status for years now, it’s also my ‘About Me’ on Facebook and just so had to be the new blogs’ name as well!

This phrase has stuck and stayed with me – through countless, endless conversations. Through my thoughts. Through my spirit. Through me.

I recollect how I first came across my Golden Sparkles of Magic – If I retrospect (and so I shall), it goes back to when one by one, people who were special in my life started moving across a few oceans. My way of staying touch – Gmail and Gtalk – my trusted buddies. So many beautiful conversations ensued and it was one such conversation that was magical and sparkly for me. And Voila! That was the beginning of my Golden Sparkles of Magic.

I’ve wondered through the years if I could ever put a visual to that expression and I finally could. On one my flights back from Delhi a year back, my flight was encircling the Bombay airspace. We were doing rounds over the ocean – I had an early AM flight and the sun was just rising. We were on a low encircling and could see the ocean below. It was a clear day in May and the water calm. And suddenly, as the sunlight bounced off the water, I could see sparkles! All over! Mesmerizing Golden sparkles…of magic :) It was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen.

My life is filled with beautiful moments - golden moments, magical moments.
